So what does it take to be part of the PokerNews family? Applicants must be outgoing, hard working, creative, charismatic, and approachable. Not only will the presenters be on camera, but also be working as a producer as well. Production experience is not required, but presenters will be required to learn about producing web-based video content.
It’s not always the glitz and glam you see in the finished product. So applicants must be prepared to put in long hours and work hard at each tournament stop. Poker knowledge, it’s helpful, but not required, instead, a passion for poker and learning more about the game is what we’re looking for.
Applicant’s must submit a resume and a video telling us why you think we should pick you. Then, take a poker story and report on it. Keep it short and sweet, the video should be no longer than two minutes. Submissions are due January 21, 2011 by midnight Pacific Standard Time.
We can’t wait to check out all the submissions! So head on over to our audition page and let us know why we should pick you! Good luck!
