Rivers keeps Chargers rolling

The San Diego Chargers are rolling again and it’s all because pf Phillip Rivers. The truth is, Rivers has been playing the best football of his career even though the Chargers are only at 4-5. Without a doubt, they’re the best 4-5 team you will see out there and they believe the NFC West belongs to them. For the past few years it has.

But this year it’s all about Phillip Rivers. He’s having an MVP type season and the offensive numbers  are getting ridiculous. Rivers has already thrown for a ridiculous, 3177 yards on the season and is completing passes at a 65% clip. 23 TD’s only 9 Ints, safe to say Rivers is balling out right now.

The question is, is he balling out more than anyone ever has? Well, Dan Marino’s single season passing yards record stands at 5084. He’s the only QB to ever eclipse the 5000 mark and he did it in his second season in the league. Rivers actually has a shot at it on the pace he’s going.

So how about it? Does Rivers throw for over 5000 yards this year? Does Rivers beat Marino’s single season passing yards record?
