CalvinAyre.com providing on-site coverage of G2E 2010

When a conference comes around you can be safe in the knowledge that CalvinAyre.com will be on hand to give you all the coverage you could ever need. That’s why the tablog team have announced they will be at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) doing just that. Taking place between 15th and 18th November, the event is situated in a city synonymous with land-based gaming, Las Vegas.

Global Gaming Expo 2010

G2E, now in its tenth year, comprises both a conference and show, with the latter starting one day after the former and both ending on the same day. Individuals will gather in Vegas for the only event “by the industry, for the industry” in which casino-entertainment professionals amass to study what’s new and what’s next in this dynamically changing industry.

What CalvinAyre.com does is cover conference in its own edgy style, usually bringing the Ayre Heads along for the ride. We can assure you that G2E will be no different. The blupenis mic and accompanying camera crew will be making their way round the venue to cover all the action available on the site in time for the next morning’s breakfast smorgasbord.

The tens of thousands of gaming executives in attendance have plenty to look forward to over the four days that the conference and show run. As well as the two halls worth of exhibitors, there will be an entertainment arena to keep the delegates amused, in addition to a number of special events marking the tenth anniversary.

Conferences highlights include a keynote from Gary Loveman of Harrah’s Entertainment on the Wednesday. Loveman will discuss the issue of misinformation that plagues the gaming industry, and for the first time specific conference sessions on iGaming.

Other keynotes will touch on a different subject in turn and including speakers such as Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO, American Gaming Association, Las Vegas journalist Jon Ralston, and Mark Van Norman, executive director, National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA).

There will also be the chance to tour a number of casino properties off-site, in addition to the conference attendee lounge that will be serving breakfast and light refreshments. It also presents a valuable opportunity to network amongst the legions of delegates.
