Stuart Cashen, Managing Director of BEToptions said on the company’s website release,
“I’m pleased to appoint Dr Bradley Goldsmith, a computer science and business specialist, to head up our new consulting and services division. This has been as a result of an increasing amount of work we have received for those seeking technical and operational advice, particularly in Australia”.
BEToptions is currently headquartered in Australia and has satellite offices in the US and Europe. The company has been involved in the supply of Sportsbook, racing and wagering software systems since 2000, but the peculiar thing about this announcement, is that it comes on the heels of announcement made just five months ago from the company’s board which announced that it had planned to sell the business.
The demand certainly must have been high and the prospects profitable to launch a consulting division, because it appears they’ve flip flopped like fish out of water on the call to sell.
