The Rangers are coming off a series win against the Orioles, but it wasn’t a walk in the park. Now the Rangers host one of the best teams in the MLB since the allstar break, and a pretty tough road team. This series will showcase two MVP candidates in Joe Mauer and Josh Hamilton. Hamilton probably has the slight edge right now, but it shouldn’t be discounted what the reigning AL MVP, Mauer is doing in Minnesota particularly without Morneau in the lineup. Even though the Rangers are favored tonight, the pitching matchups to me, are a toss up. I like the Twins on the road and I think they’ll find a way to end up in the win column. Read more.
