The disparity between the AL East and the AL West has been on display as of late. The Texas Rangers who have basically run away with the AL West, have been getting spanked by the AL East teams, and right now are on the verge of being swept at the Trop by th Rays. Tonight’s game is one of those games Texas has to have if only to prove to themselves they can actually beat a top team from another division, the Rangers are 0-8 on the road this year against the Rays, Twins and Yankees. The Rays head into tonight as huge favorites at -160 on Bodog’s MLB odds. I’m taking major gambles on the Pale Hose, I might as well take another one on the Rangers tonight, hopefully Rays starter James Shields will still have the ringing in his ears from the laser show the Bluejays put on him in his last start.
