After postponing the play-date of their online lottery plans a month or so ago, New Hampshire has decided that PlayNowNH will now play, um, never. NH politicians are claiming the scheme was scuppered because studies proved it wasn’t going to be a moneymaker, but we suspect the negative association with the PlayNow debacle in British Columbia convinced the pols that the project was irredeemably tarnished in the minds of punters everywhere.
