Playtech, the online gaming software company, have announced that their Q2 profits have soared since Q1 mainly down to rapid growth in the casino and bingo sector, offsetting the declining poker section. Estonia’s finest also stated that trading activity in the first 26 days of the third quarter was up 10% on last year, but 12% down on Q2 due to gamblers being extremely irresponsible and going on holiday.
