Light about to go out on the Siena

Time looks to be up for a Reno casino as it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, to add to the probable suspension of its gambling license. The Siena Hotel Spa & Casino, which was only this month given a reprieve from Nevada’s Gaming and Control Board, as a sort of Independence weekend present, owes around $153,000 in delinquent casino taxes and fees.

In addition to this they owe another $140,000 in delinquent room taxes, $400,000 to NV Energy, and they have to pay $50,000 every two weeks to keep the lights on. Looks like they’re shit out of luck then! Could just launch a new gimmick: gamble by candlelight. Might work. Read more.
