Analyst says 7% of U.S. adults will play poker online if legalized

American-Poker-Players-LegalYou have to scroll down a bit in the linked article to discover this nugget, but Jacob Oberman, CB Richard Ellis’ director of gaming research and analysis, says that a soon to be released paper produced by his company will claim that online poker is currently generating more money from American players than before the UIGEA was passed in 2006, and that while only 3% of Americans currently play cash poker once a month, that figure would rise to 7% if the practice was legalized.
