Sweden loses out in the highest court

Icey, Nordic, and shit out of luck, but luckily it’s only to the authorities that this applies. This follows the highest court in Europe, the European Court of Justice, ruling that a ban on foreign gaming companies advertising their services in newspapers was unlawful, as the are no such penalties in place for Swedish companies. In a global recession maybe concentrating on taxing these companies whilst they operate within your borders would be a better plan then banning them altogether. Even if the Swedes don’t want the cash, I’m sure many others would gladly be accepting of any ‘gifts’ coming their way. Read more
