For a moment there, in the first round of the main event, admit it, you thought Lesnar might be finished, that maybe he wasn’t ready to be back in the ring yet, that maybe he should have taken a preparation fight before taking on someone like Carwin, that maybe this was the first time you were going to see Brock beat, admit it, I know I did. But I was wrong, my money on the fight wasn’t, but I was. It was a very different Lesnar we saw in and outside the ring, during and after the fight. I saw a man who seemed humbled by his near death experienced, but hardened by overcoming it, his victory must have never tasted so sweet.
