Since England’s exit, broadcaster ITN has tied up a deal to stream it’s World Cup-themed packages on the popular betting site Paddy Power, which, unlike ITN, was heaped with praise following England’s opener. All we hope is that Paddy doesn’t waste any of those precious Euros he uses on his adverts, or Carlton Palmer, Bruce Grobbelaar, and that unfortunate cat, may well have to join the ever lengthening dole queue.
