When will sports leagues get over it and give Vegas a team?

For decades now, any time a sports league expands or an existing team seeks greener pastures, one city has been effectively banned from consideration: Las Vegas. The issue was, and continues to be, the city’s affiliation with gambling and the supposed negative association that comes with that. But while the leagues don’t want to build their arenas in a gambling mecca, they can’t help but have noticed that a lot of other cities have been building casinos, often within spitting distance of the same facilities where pro athletes earn their bones. So isn’t it about time to shitcan the hypocrisy and move the Phoenix Coyotes to Sin City? I mean, there’s got to be enough French Canadians in all those Cirque Du Soleil troupes to provide a decent season ticket base. Read more.
