Sands China chief predicts 30% revenue increase in booming Macau

The offline casino industry in the US is trying to pull out all the stops to bring customers through their doors, but gay bingo nights and special appearances by Bill Clinton (he doesn’t come cheap) smack a little of desperation. So it must be with green eyes that AC execs look on from afar as Sands China continues to rake in the millions. Las Vegas Sands chief Sheldon Adelson expects revenue in Macau for the second half of 2010 to be up at least 30% year-on-year – and it hasn’t even opened the first phase of its new gaming resort project on the Cotai Strip yet.
