New Jersey is the most likely state to be successful at regulating online gambling at intrastate level, according to Joe Brennan, chairman of Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association, who believes it will be in place next year. “New Jersey is in a position to lead and be a worldwide launching pad for the online industry,” insists Brennan, presumably because annual revenues of the Garden State’s land-based casinos dropped by 13.5%.
