Google to reveal governments are watching over us

Google has announced that it is to release information on government requests to hand over data and censor information. Turns out Brazil, the US, and the UK are in the top three for requests for data, which is slightly disconcerting if you live in one of those countries. Either it means we’ve got more stringent rules to try and catch the paedos of this world – or Big Brother is watching everything we do to control us. And I mean everything. And even if your government isn’t, Google certainly is. Makes you wonder what they’ve got? Poker account details? Bank details? Hidden video cam footage of that French couple next door?
