Not content with raising the heckles of the rednecks who run Kentucky, Full Tilt aren’t winning any popularity prizes Down Under either. The Australian government has “expressed concerns” over the sponsorship by FullTiltPoker.net of the Sydney Roosters NRL team shirts, claiming it contravenes the Interactive Gambling Act of 2001. Thing is, FullTiltPoker.net is an education site, not to be confused with FullTiltPoker.com but, as in Kentucky, the authorities are clearly more confused as headless chickens, which is why the Roosters are seeking some sound sense from the lawyers – again.
