Gambling commission clamps down on pub poker

handcuffsTurns out Idaho isn’t the only place you can get collared for having an innocent game of poker among friends. Apparently, in the UK you can’t have a game in the pub for more than £5 a head and £100 per premises a day. So the Gambling Commission has got heavy on those who have dared to break the rules. Well, they’ve issued three cautions, anyway. And then they wonder why pubs are closing down by the dozen. Dear me.
