There will be no further delay in implementing the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, meaning the regulations will take effect June 1. According to Congressman Barney Frank, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner made a deal with Senator Jon Kyl to ensure the act would take effect as scheduled in exchange for Kyl ending his one-man block of President Obama’s Treasury nominees.
