The voice of reason cries out from the darkness… Over at The Motley Fool, Padraig O’Hannelly has voiced the opinion that investing in stocks is nothing more than gambling by another name, and that all claims to the contrary are rooted in investor snobbishness, not fact. Nevertheless, some 57% of the Fools voting in the associated poll apparently have their Windsor knots tied a little too tightly to permit their brains to process (let alone accept) Padraig’s assertion.
