Why is it Uruguay gets such a hard time of it? Is it because Brazil and Argentina always steals their thunder in the World Cup? Is it because of the Rio Carnival? Is it because of Ricky Villa and Ossie Ardiles? It’s not as if the UK went to war with Uruguay in the 1980s is it? So let’s hear it for the unsung Urugs – or whatever they’re called.
