Media chief: iGaming lobbying will lead to regulation

Internet gambling supporters, observers and opponents spent an estimated $3.65 million lobbying the United States government during the third quarter of 2009. That’s up 50 percent from $2.41 million the previous year.

All of which has convinced Mark Balestra, managing director of BolaVerde Media Group, who produced the report, that it’s only a matter of time before regulation gets under way.
