New Jersey Nets ban gambling on jets

stewardessNo pistols were actually discharged during Gilbert Arenas’ recent locker room brouhaha, but now we hear that the entire New Jersey Nets team is suffering some collateral damage. According to the New York Times, team president/sky-marshall Rod Thorn has told Nets players that gambling will no longer be permitted on team flights. You really have to wonder what this will do for player morale, as the cabin of the plane was the one venue in which the 3-32 Nets were actually capable of winning anything. Read more.
