Facebook has come under fire recently for their somewhat shady advertising practices. They’ve been accused of doing everything from sharing our information with marketers (true) to stealing our pictures and using them in ads (false). So perhaps to create some positive PR, they’ve decided to further restrict what kinds of companies they’ll allow to advertise on their site. Already banned were smoking products, weaponry and spy equipment (who needs spy equipment when they’ve got facebook?). But they’ve now expanded that list to include ads for any type of “adult” entertainment, including online gaming. Read more…
