When poker met politics

The National Journal magazine has written an interesting article comparing Obama’s political strategy to poker strategy. Obama has said that he loves the game and the journal notes trademark poker strategy throughout his political career. They compare his political foes to players and break down his career as if it were playing out on the felt.

Obama is clearly a champ in the political arena but I’d love see him in a Friday night game with his boys. He’s said he’s pretty good, but how would he know? Who’s going to call the president’s bluff? Read more…
