Poker business, PPA releases new data on poker playersThe Poker Players Alliance has conducted a survey of their members and they’ve found some interesting figures. More than 72% have at least some college education, more than 75% are between 30 and 60 years old and almost half make over $50,000 a year. They’re also more likely to be politically independent and the percentage of players who’ve served in the military is twice that of the national average (22% vs 8.5%).

So there you have it. Poker players are a smarter, wealthier and more likely to have fought for their county. If they’re not careful they might just kill that degenerate gambler stereotype for good. Read more…
