Barcelona Affiliate Conference 2011

Europe’s autumn Affiliate Conference brought to the masses by iGaming Business (iGB) will be moving from its home of two years Budapest for pastures new. There’s no need to worry about it losing any of the fun for which it’s known though.

This year’s edition will take place in the far sunnier climbs of Barcelona and it being a month earlier means that conference goers will be able to take advantage of some late summer sun.

Between the 8^th and 11^th of September, 1600 delegates are expected to descent on the capital of Catalonia in what will be three days of feverish networking, valuable content and the all important partying for which iGB affiliate events are known.

The country within a country will play host to over 100 affiliate programs and with 70% of the attendees from the affiliate industry it’s apt that as with all iGB affiliate events affiliates go completely free.

Speakers at last year’s event included those in senior positions at Income Access, Offside Gaming, and Casino Affiliate Programs. In terms of those exhibiting, all the big players in the industry had a stand, including Affiliates United, Intertops, RoxyAffiliates, Unibet, and Ladbrokes.

The partying is where many of the best networking opportunities will exist. Last year’s conference saw a party on every night. This meant an opening party, a roller disco, official party, and networking drinks on the final afternoon. If there’s something that you realize it’s that affiliates know how to P-A-R-T-Y.

As with all iGB affiliate events this one will include the iGaming Series of Poker (iGSOP). It gives the best poker players amongst the affiliate industry the chance to show off to their colleagues and even win some money.
