Thursday 8th December, 2016 – The Australian distributor for Digital Sports Tech, a B2B provider of next generation sports betting solutions, has agreed a deal with Ladbrokes Australia to provide the operator with its unique player proposition betting offering (“Player Props”).

Ladbrokes will be the second operator in Australia to roll out Player Props, following a successful launch by MadBookie.com in June who have seen tremendous engagement with the offering.

The Ladbrokes Australia agreement also follows hot on the heels of Digital Sports Tech’s successful launch of the product with Coral in the UK and Europe last month.

The sports currently available via the product include football, American football, basketball, Australian Rules Football and rugby league.

Some examples of the bets that customers will be able to create and bet on include:

• Single player bet: Sergio Aguero to have at least 3 shots on goal against Chelsea (EPL)
• Combined player bet: LeBron James and Kevin Durant combined to have at least 60 points combined (NBA)
• Head-to-head bet: Tom Brady to have more passing yards than Drew Brees (NFL)

A major attraction of the Player Props betting platform is the sheer number of player markets that can be made available to users without any extra trading manpower.

Factoring in all the possible bet permutations and combinations, there are more than 1.3 million unique markets available for users to create during a single round of English Premier League matches, and more than 2.3 million in a weekend of NFL.

The wide variety of player markets also means that bettors are far more engaged when watching a match. Rather than waiting for the final score they are focused on key individual moments like a successful pass or tackle, shot or rebound.
