nba-western-conference-finals-golden-state-warriors-force-game-7The Golden State Warriors clawed their way out of the grave to force a Game 7 after beating Oklahoma City Thunder at 108-101.

The Thunder returned to Oklahoma City for their final home game of the NBA Western Conference needing just one win to clinch the best-of-seven series.

The Thunder were in control for most of this game. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had been on fire, leading the Thunder with scoring, passing and rebounding.

The New Zealander Steve Adams has dominated Andrew Bogut, putting him in foul trouble.

But they crumbled in the final minutes, missing shots and turning over the ball. The Warriors used it to their advantage and pulled off a wild fourth quarter comeback.

The Splash Brothers came up big. Klay Thompson was on fire, making a playoff-record 11 3-pointers and scored 41 points while Stephen Curry, who bounced back from a slow start, was just one assist shy a triple double performance with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Draymond Green chipped in 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Warriors made 21 of 44 3-point attempts, while Oklahoma City was just 3 of 23.

Durant scored 29 points on 10-of-21 shooting. Westbrook had 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists and but shot only 10-of-27. Serge Ibaka had 13 points and 9 rebounds, Adams contributed 9 points and 9 rebounds, and Andre Roberson added 11 points and 8 rebounds.

The series is now tied 3-3 with a deciding Game 7 in Oakland on Monday (Memorial Day), giving the Warriors a home court advantage and chance to return to the finals for a second consecutive year.
