Heartland Poker Tour Ink Deal With DoubleDown Casino

Heartland Poker Tour has inked a deal with the social gaming operator DoubleDown Casino that will see the latter pushed through various promotional circles relating to the broadcast of the burgeoning poker tour.

Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) partners Bluff have announced that the American based live poker tour will be entering into a deal that will see the social gaming outfit DoubleDown Casino pushed and promoted through their televised show, Heartland Poker Tour Ink Deal With DoubleDown Casinocommercials and social and digital marketing campaigns.

DoubleDown Casino is the social gaming darling of International Gaming Technology (IGT), and in January 2015, was one of the only sparkling gems to come out of a Q1 fiscal report that saw IGT’s revenue drop 17% to $451m.

The social gaming operator, who reaches 9 million eyeballs each month, earned the largest chunk of revenue from an interactive gaming division that saw its revenue increase 23% to $91.5m. $79.4m of that haul belonged to HPT’s new partners.

DoubleDown Casino is easily accessible. Its web browser based, and can be accessed through all the normal devices. You don’t even have to register. Sign in through your Facebook account and you are ready to play in seconds.

Games on offer include roulette, blackjack, bingo, video poker, slots, and four different forms of poker (Texas Hold’em, Wild Action Texas Hold’em, 5 Card Draw, and Pot-Limit Omaha).

In those same Q1 reports DoubleDown’s daily average users rose 11% to 1.9m, 39% of which were using a mobile device. HPT will be hoping that their impact on 160 million international households will be able to increase that subscription level.

If you are a HPT viewer, and want to try out DoubleDown Casino, then the tour operator is offering a special promo code ‘HPT4DoubleDown’ to earn a million virtual chips.

IGT shareholders agreed to a merger with the Italian Lottery and Gaming tech company GTECH back in Feb 2015.
