PKR Announce Overhaul 3.0 Style

The 3D graphics online poker site PKR.com may have announced plans to exit the Italian market, but the rest of the community has a lot to look forward to, after the site announced plans for a major overhaul.

PKR Announce Overhaul 3.0 StylePKR.com, the former eGaming Review ‘Hotshot Operator of the Year,’ have announced plans to overhaul their software, and the bright minds behind the 3D animated online poker site believe it’s going to put a lot of smiles on a lot of people’s faces.

People like change as much as kids like turnips and so PKR have paved the way for the changes by releasing a short video that not only gives their players a sneak preview of the new graphics, but also promises: faster gameplay, enhanced graphics, and a smarter interface.

“We have really overhauled the animations and gameplay to find a balance between what makes PKR unique and the need to be competitive in terms of speed of game.” Said PKR’s representative Daniel Grant.

It’s the biggest software update in four years. The last update, back in 2010, focused primarily on the player’s ability to multi-table. PKR’s value comes in its individuality, and the 3D graphical interface is a big part of this. Unfortunately, the graphics take up a lot of power and although the recreational players love it, some of the regs were demanding more ease of play, particularly when multi-tabling, and this is what they got.

The 3.0 version is once again attempting to make things a little easier for the regs, whilst also improving upon their graphical features for the recreational players. This time it appears that speed is one of the key areas of improvement, in a bid to keep pace with their rival at iPoker, 888Poker, Full Tilt and PokerStars.

“We have also changed the login, lobby, and at-table experiences to get players to the tables more quickly and easily, and improved the table view in terms of how/what information is displayed.” Said Grant before continuing, “We have added further layers of design, and a new avatar editor, with a couple of cool features. We feel it’s a significant step forward.’

If you are a member of PKR then here is a prelude to smack those lips over.
