PartyPoker Garden State Super Series of Online Poker will be the largest-ever online poker tournament in New Jersey history, and the official schedule has just been released.

It’s been one hell of a busy summer for poker players, but the tournaments keep on rolling.

PartyPoker have released their official schedule for the inaugural Garden State Super Series of Online Poker (GSSS) and online satellite qualifiers begin as early as Monday 18th August.

It was over a week ago that a PartyPoker representative posted the draft schedule on 2+2 to gauge feedback from their player base. That feedback has since been cogitated and digested and the result looks pretty impressive.

Rather than re-invent the wheel, PartyPoker has taken a leaf out of the SCOOP handbook and created the incredibly popular three-tier structure that provides action for low, medium and high rollers alike.

There will be 20 unique tournaments, at three buy-in levels, creating 60 tournaments in all. PartyPoker will be guaranteeing $1m in prize money and the prize pig in the sty will be the $50, $100 & $200 Main Events that carry guarantees of $10,000, $20,000 & $75,000 respectively.

The tournament will start Sep 7 and run until Sep 21 and here is what the PartyPoker ambassador Mike Sexton had to say about it.

“The Garden State Super Series is a fantastic complement to the WPT Borgata Open offering players the chance to win big at both the live and online felt while in New Jersey in September,” said Team PartyPoker captain Mike Sexton. “There are so many ways to qualify, plus a great variety of tournament formats at three buy-in levels which give anyone a chance to take home their share of $1 million.”

The live experience that Sexton refers to is the World Poker Tour (WPT) Borgata Poker Open, which is being held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Sep 14-19, thus giving visiting players the opportunity to multi-table both online and live during their visit to Atlantic City.

The full schedule can be found right here.

50 Million Hands = Free Money

PartyPoker are also fast approaching their 50 millionth hand, dealt in New Jersey cyber space, and the winner of that hand is going to win up to $2,500 in free cash.

50% of the prize money will go to the winner, and the other 50% will be divided equally amongst the other payers who happen to be sat at the table at the time the jackpot is hit.

Players will continue to receive free money windfalls every million hand thereafter until they hit the next milestone of 60 million hands.

The team of PartyPoker and Borgata continue to be the market leader in the New Jersey online gambling market, but Caesars WSOP.com brand is not that far behind the tale pipe fumes.

July was the first month in three that saw New Jersey’s online gaming revenue graphs point North. Online casino games earned $7.9m with $2.2m coming from the coffers of online poker. The Borgata/Bwin.party team earned almost half of that online poker revenue.
