Geobet Microgaming JackpotjoyOnline gaming marketing firm, International Arts Management, has announced the worldwide launch of a new gambling network as part of the online sportsbook and casino GEObet.com.

The newly laucnhed GEObet Gambling Network is an iGaming solution for US tribal casinos; “an extension of the land-based casino, supplying the tools and operations of a complete online casino gambling product without any significant upfront costs to the land-based operator,” said CEO of IAM, Peter Karroll.

Geobet.com, operated by Olympian Trading and North Star Entertainment, is also known for its poker, bingo and VIP customer service, affiliate tracking, automated banner delivery and back-end systems. This new network has been launched to offer online partnerships to tribal casinos, as well as independent casino operators – to “complement and extend their land-based casino operations”.

Karroll added: “There are hundreds of independent casinos operating in North America that will compete against Atlantic City and Nevada for their share of the American market when it opens up. These operators want to avoid losing their players to the major casino brands that are heavily investing in online.”

GEObet is now in the process of setting up affiliations and relationships internationally, especially North America – where it will develop its market once the “laws are in place to allow land-based operators to move online,” a press release stated.

A Microgaming online casino partner has paid out a jackpot just under £2 million to a player, online reports reveal.

The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring slots game at Platinum Play online casino presented a lady (who goes by the name of Susan C.) with the lucky jackpot amount last week.

No official press statement has been released by Microgaming or the online casino where the dosh was dealt but the news is according to a winner’s list on the Fortune Lounge group of online casinos, of which Platinum Play casino is a leading member.

In other payout news, Jackpotjoy has paid out £1,313 to a lucky lady – another jackpot winner with a mysteriously short second name – Julie W, who scooped the amount after playing the website’s 90 ball version of the classic game.

According to a press release by the company, Julie W, who is a regular player of Jackpotjoy‘s 90 Ball bingo games, said upon hearing the win: “I am sending the bulk of this to Chernobyl. I host children every year that stay with me for a month at a time.” Nice dear, but come on – at least buy yourself a Martini and discounted cheese board before “saving the children”.
