Hyperion drinksEver since the first Hyperion Online Gaming Links Drinks, one of the leaders in online gaming industry recruitment has always known what a good party needs – booze by the truckload. Their fourth social took place on Thursday last week and we’ve only just recovered from the hangover to fill you in with the sordid details (that’s what happens when you have five drinks sponsors).

Much like those before it, the event took place at a central location with the Moroccan-themed Beduin Bar chosen. Those arriving early will have noticed the traditional aroma of incense wafting through as they built new relationships. Getting there any later than 8 meant the smell emanating was of a very different nature. One clue: Tequila shots were already being wheeled out by the baker’s dozen!

To the joy of those in attendance, free drinks flowed for almost the entire evening thanks to sponsors Ukash, iGaming Business, Callcredit Group, The Test People and Sportsbook Guardian. Was the theme really networking and relationship building as it seemed like we stumbled into a pre-weekend binging session to rank up there with the best of them. All whilst the place looked like a meeting of the London branch of the Hulk Hogan fan club. It’s what you get in Movember and all for a good cause as well!

One of the best parts about the venue, if the free booze and cozy balcony wasn’t enough, was Fabric nightclub being next door. We’re assuming not many made it into work on Friday morning!

Party pictures are available here and here and we hear Steve Cook deserves the DAF award for the night. If you think differently then don’t hesitate to let us know. That’s if your hangover has cleared!
