revel atlantic cityThe flat-lining Atlantic City is hoping to get a jumpstart with the addition of the Revel Resort and Casino, a new luxury destination casino that brings with it a Vegas nightlife flair.

Revel has already been heralded as the largest casino resort in the East, and is scheduled to open its doors on the Boardwalk in the spring.

At a price tag of $2.4 billion, the new beachfront casino/resort brings to Atlantic City more than 6 million square feet of lodging, gaming, eating, entertainment and shopping space and 1,000 square feet of Boardwalk frontage.

In an effort to bring a little more of the fun and raucous youthful environment that Vegas enjoys to Atlantic City, Revel Entertainment Group has announced a collaboration with Angel Management Group. Angel Management Group has seen success in Las Vegas, handling the WET REPUBLIC adults-only party pool at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and other hot spots. And if you’ve ever been to one of those pool parties, you’ll know that’s exactly what Atlantic City needs more of.

Obviously, it is yet to be seen whether Revel can jumpstart a struggling gaming destination, but the addition of Revel and the type of youthful sexy entertainment the venue will offer is a step in the right direction in rebuilding a vibrant nightlife in America’s former gambling mecca.
