Miss Angola wins 2011 Miss Universe

The 2011 Miss Universe Pageant in San Paulo took place last night and even though they tried to tone down the sexiness, the event was still chalk full of world class eye candy. However, much to my dismay, Miss Colombia did appear to be wearing panties…Might have cost her the competition.

I can’t help but feel like the Miss Universe pageant people are selling these girls short. They should be going on tours around the world, dancing at nightclubs, doing centerfolds…Ahh, if only I had my way.

The pick of the litter and the honor of being crowned Miss Universe 2011 went to Leila Lopes of Angola.

Lopes became just the fourth African woman to ever be named Miss Universe and the first woman from Angola to wear the crown. But there were other countries that were representing some really impressive talent last night.

Miss Ukraine Olesia Stefanko was first runner-up last night.

Miss Brazil Priscila Machado was second-runner up.

Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup was absolutely stunning and probably should have finished higher.

I was also very surprised at how little love Miss India Vasuki Sunkavalli got from the judges. Talk about sexy woman with power, Vasuki Sunkavalli has law degree from NYU, has drafted letters for National delegates and she sits on several human rights committees, sounds pretty and perfect to me.
