Lyceum iGaming Summer Social on a boat!We’ll start with the simple stuff. The gods were on our side tonight seeing as the pouring rain let up to sun at 6pm this evening, the exact same time the social kicked off…kind of like how the sun shone in Ayr, Scotland for three full days when Calvin Ayre was in town, but that’s another story.

This means we had sunshine aboard the HMS president, the 7th Annual iGaming Summer Social venue that housed over 100 drunk iGaming professionals for the evening. Although some had their panties in a bunch over the limited free drinks, most sucked it up and paid the four quid per cocktail when they realized their companies actually turned down the opportunity to sponsor. That is except for Esanda, the iGaming recruitment company that did actually sponsor the social and celebrated their 5th birthday with drink tickets and cake for the crowd.

Throughout the evening we had a couple of boozy highlights such as Karim Wilkins’ long black hair wig, Caselli’s pirate voice, the sporadic breakage of wine glasses on the stationary boat floor, some breaking it down on the dance floor, the unexpected appearance of Brett and Bo and some iGaming Social virgins who got a little drunk and got even friendlier with the microphone…
