perspectives weeklyThis episode is a landmark episode for J Todd and the Perspectives Weekly crew, as this show marks the 250th instalment of Perspectives Weekly. J Todd appropriately dedicated the show to one of our fallen members.

To kick off the episode, J Todd dives right into the messy soap opera that has become the story of Full Tilt Poker. Aside from the Ivey mess, the speculations flying around Full Tilt has created more questions than it has answers and you have to agree with J Todd when he says he smells something rotten.

What about Kyl and Reid’s bi-partisan letter? J Todd still believes that letter was more about pushing out the international operators to serve the interests of the larger brick and mortar casinos looking to get into the online gambling space.

FairPlayUSA has come out of the woodwork with their mantra. Strangely, it sounds very similar to Poker Player’s Alliance and APCW Perspectives Weekly. Interestingly enough, Fair Play is funded by almost all the major casinos on the Vegas strip. At least we can back their cause which is a push for the legalization of online poker. It seems that Vegas is now putting their money where the online gambling mouth is.
