We are currently in the midst of what is known as the dog days of summer in the west. It’s a summer that has already seen a number of changes in the gaming industry as well as huge work stoppages in two of the major NA sports, with NBA and NFL Lockouts. For gaming industry professionals, we seem to always approach everything the same way, business as usual.
With so much going on, we wanted to know what gaming industry professionals have been up to this summer. We polled the question, “How have you been spending your summer”? Here are the results.
For most, the response was business as usual. 33 percent responded that they have been spending their summer working.
25 percent responded that they’ve been spending their summer waiting for Football, either the NFL or European brand to start.
15 percent have spent their summer taking in the action at the WSOP.
And 14 percent have spent their summer doing what everyone loves to do, that is, taking time off work.
