Judgement day is nearly upon all the hooligans and anarchists that participated in the Vancouver riot after game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.
According to CBC News, Vancouver police say charges are being prepared against 37 people who turned themselves in following last month’s Stanley Cup riot, while hundreds more are still under investigation.
The Vancouver Police Chief is also asking everyone who has photos or video not yet submitted to police to forward copies on a CD or DVD. The Vancouver Police Chief also asked that any photographic evidence stored on phones not be deleted.
If you watched the carnage on TV or saw the thousands of videos, you already know that there’s a boatload of more than 37 people that were involved in the shameful display.
Like many who watched some of the footage, I was surprised at number of knuckleheads who thought they didn’t need a mask or some sort of disguise while they engaged in blatant illegal riot activity in broad daylight, in front of thousands of cameras.
According to CBC News, police have received 4,300 email tips to date, resulting in 1,700 emails requiring investigation. The Vancouver police chief said investigators are scouring over 1,500 hours of video and 3,000 individual data files.
The Vancouver police chief warned there are literally hundreds of people who are about to be charged or who are currently under investigation, with hundreds more expected to be under investigation in the near future. So for the disgraced residents of Vancouver, rest assured it seems justice is on its way.
