innovationGroup buying is making its entry in the iGaming industry with the launch of GambleGang.com. After bumbling around with normal people for way too long, it’s about time that this popular pastime was given the iGaming treatment. The site is similar in its approach to the buying model used by GroupOn.

“Groupon and other group discount networks have proven that the group buying model works,” said GambleGang.com Founder. “I’m amazed that no one else is doing it for online casino and poker players and online sports bettors – but here we are, getting online gamblers great deals!”

Their first deal is with the Microgaming powered Red Flush Casino. It means that any player signing up for a Special Group Discount Bonus through “the Gang” receives a special 200% match deposit bonus on their initial deposit. This beats the normal 100% bonus.

Keeping with new innovation to hit the industry, SpadeSocial.com is aiming to create the biggest video sharing social network in the industry. The site will start off by aggregating around 20,000 poker, casino and sports betting videos from all over the internet. Co-founder, Kristoff Doneit, commented, “Spadesocial provides our users with an easy to use platform and a place where they can find and enjoy all types of gambling related video content.

“Our aim is to create user-driven video content that will bring some more fun and laughter to the gambling world. This method not only creates unique advertising opportunities but also has powerful viral marketing potential for our clients.”

The site will also co-produce original programs in conjunction with the likes of Casino Strategies, PokerMind, Odds/Spreadbetting and Poker News. Videos, fun and gambling sounds like our kind of thing. The site launches this Friday (8th July) and it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

One month later, let's see how they're going : GambleGang has stolen the background image directly from Groupon, while SpadeSocial is showing ESPN videos, surely without licensing the content. Prediction : legal trouble all around.
