nokia sea ray windows phoneThose eagerly awaiting the arrival of NokiaSoft’s first Windows Phone will be happy with the latest news. Nokia CEO Stephen Elop revealed the phone earlier this week and asked attendees to refrain from using recording devices. Did anyone take note of that? Like fuck did they. The new prototype can be seen in all its blurred glory above and a video of Elop’s top-secret presentation at the following link.

The device has been given the nickname “Sea Ray”. It may as well have been called the N9+ though. It comes after they unveiled a load of new-old devices aimed at customers on the Symbian operating system. Someone needs to see whether there’s anything in Nokia’s head.

There’s also big news for those in the iGaming industry after it was revealed that China is Apple’s second biggest market in terms of apps after the US. Apple’s iPhone is the weapon of choice for many iGaming companies and it looks like the smart phone market is going the same way in Asia as the casino industry has. Distimo’s report noted that app downloads “grew significantly” during the first half of 2011 in Asia. That resulted in China becoming the second largest market in the world.

More details have also been revealed about Apple’s new iPhone this time the news being about Flash. Before you all jump out of your seats to celebrate it’s nothing to do with Macromedia. It’s just the confirmation that the new camera will have a better flash capability. Had you there didn’t we!
