Lottomatica’s CFO resigns

lottomaticaLottomatica Group, a market leader in the Italian gaming industry and one of the largest Lottery operators in the world has announced recently that its CFO Stefano Bortoli will leave the Group at the end of May to pursue a new professional path.

The Group expressed in their press release gratitude and thanks to Bortoli for his contribution to the Group’s success.

Indeed, it has been quite the year for the group and their wholly owned subsidiary GTECH. Lottomatica and its subsidiary GTECH are the only vertically integrated full service lottery group. This year, GTECH G2 was nominated for eight eGaming Review (EGR) B2B Awards, the highest number of nominations at the event, which cemented its position as the premier digital gaming and sports betting supplier to both the commercial and world lottery markets.

In 2010, Lottomatica Group had €2.3 billion in revenues and 7,700 employees in approximately 60 countries.The areas of the Group Bortoli managed will now report directly to the Group’s CEO, Marco Sala, pending the appointment of a new CFO.
