Red Wings look to make history in game 7

It has never happened in the NBA playoffs and it has only happened once in the MLB postseason, but in just a few moments, the Detroit Red Wings will attempt to do what only 3 teams in the history of the NHL have ever done before, that is come back after being down 3-0 in a series to win it.

The Red Wings have played some of the most exciting and spirited hockey you will ever see and have managed to scratch and claw their way back to force a Game 7 against the San Jose Sharks.

Meanwhile, the Vancouver Canucks, Canada’s only remaining team, awaits the winner having already defeated the Nashville Predators in six games.

Twice it has looked like the Red Wings were dead in the water and both times the team has rallied with late goals to stave off elimination. In game 5, the Red wing rallied after being down by a pair of goals in the third period to win the game 4-3. They took game 6 and now they are on the verge of becoming just the fourth team in the history of the game to turn the miracle comeback.

The Red Wings have the hearts of true champions and for the past three games of this series, you could argue that the Red Wings have been the superior team. The Wings goaltender Howard has looked unbeatable in the past three games while the Sharks goaltender Niemi has shown some cracks.

If you’re feeling lucky, it might be the time to roll the dice on Hockey Town USA.
