With all of the subliminal gambling messages the US Postal Service has been sending out and the warmer weather, many North Americans are getting that Vegas bug.
If you do end up in Sin City, there’s one place you really need to check out, the brand new Cosmopolitan.
For me, going to Vegas means I’ll be doing one of three things at all times. I would like to say that having sex with beautiful women is on that list, but I’m not that nice with it. My list is basic:
1. Gambling, drinking and carrying on—that’s a given
2. Strip clubbing
3. Anything poolside
Most people can relate to the last option. Really, is there anything better than a rowdy pool party, or a relaxing day with cocktails by the pool? If that’s how you want to get down, you might want to check out the Cosmopolitan.
The Cosmopolitan is unique in that it offers an exclusive pool district with three different types of poolside experiences. Poolside experiences range from an all-day pool party driven by world-class DJs to a quiet, pampering environment, the Pool District at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offers something for anyone who likes chilling poolside.
The Cosmopolitan sports three different pools with three different experiences and names.
The Boulevard Pool is situated at the center of the Pool District and overlooks the heart of The Strip, offering unobstructed views of the Las Vegas skyline. But the coolest thing about this pool in my opinion are that the private cabanas around the pool offer the latest EA video games. Drinks, women, poolside, video games…pleasure overload! On a busy day, the Boulevard Pool can accommodate more than 3,000 people for private events or concerts.
The Bamboo Pool is the pool adjacent to the spa and offers guests an intimate and relaxing atmosphere not as raucous as The Boulevard. The 10 private cabanas that surround the pool feature flat screen TVs, iPod docks and mini-bars, and are furnished with sectional sofas, ceiling fans and misters. Large tulip shaped umbrellas provide shade and a misting wall is located by towel service. Great place to hang if you’re hungover.
If you’ve ever seen Night at the Roxbury with Will Ferrell and Kris Kattan, The Marquee Dayclub is pretty much their idea of an outdoor nightclub. It extends the energy and excitement of the nightclub to the outdoors, embracing sunny days on the Las Vegas Strip with a lavish, adults-only offering for the spring and summer seasons.
Panning 22,000 square feet of the expansive multi-level 60,000 square-foot David Rockwell-designed entertainment complex, the Dayclub boasts two pools, several bars and a gaming area featuring six blackjack tables. Programming will be highlighted by world-class DJ residencies.
So if drinking, gambling and carrying on, poolside is your cup of tea, and if you’re making that Vegas move, then you might want to check The Cosmopolitan.
