Man vs Machine, or Watson versus the Geeks, on TV gameshow Jeopardy is what we’re going on about for those of you that weren’t rushing over the Bodog’s site to put money on the outcome. If you feel like a flutter now though sorry, you’re too late.

Watson, whose $1million prize will be donated to charity by IBM, managed to garner an impressive $77,147 over the two games. This was a considerable amount higher than both human contestants, Brad Rutter achieving a sultry $21,600, whereas Ken Jennings didn’t fare much better on $24,000 overall.
Both human contestants did win a sizeable purse, Jennings $300,000 and Rutter $200,000, but they lost to a bloody machine!
