Dubbed the Responsible Remote Gambling Measures initiative, the list represents input from more than 600 contributors across the online and land-based gambling communities in Europe. The rules, which were crafted by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), will be self-enforced and frequently updated to match the pace of the industry, according to Online-Casinos.com
“This may only be a first step, in the sense that the CEN community will be ready to consider additional activities when the stakeholders are ready and willing, for example to work towards the creation of a full European Standard in due time,” claims John Ketchell, the Innovation Director at the CEN.
