Becky’s Bender: NYE Gamblin’ Drinkin’ and Carryin’ On
A very happy Christmas Eve and holiday season to everyone! I hope you have managed to reach your loved ones by now as the airports in Europe, Heathrow in particular, have been a complete $hit storm this past week. I was lucky enough to get myself out of London for the holidays, but if you weren’t so lucky or if London is your Christmas holiday location, at least you’ve got a great option for some New Year’s Eve misbehaving- a party at The Baglioni Hotel in Kensington, arranged by two of London’s best party planners, Mari-Liis Ivalo and Kieran Mulhern.
Some of you may remember Kieran from the parties he organized for the iGaming industry during LAC 2010 such as the iGB Affiliate Awards After Party at Jalouse and the unofficial Jalouse after party on the last night…but then again, you probably don’t remember because you were so drunk that you blacked out. Kieran clearly did his job those nights, and it’s pretty safe to say he’s done it again for the upcoming New Year’s Eve Baglioni Hotel party.
While some feel that New Year’s Eve is “amateur night” and would rather stay in, the rest of you want to let your hair down, flirt with members of the opposite sex, get your groove on and get DRUNK, and if you’re in London, this is the party for you. The night kicks off at the beautiful five star venue at 9pm with a Belvedere cocktail reception and hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef Andrea Vercelli, continues with performances from five popular London DJ’s, gambling and other activities in the hotel casino, and a bar that’s open until 6am.
