hyperion-holiday-socialUnless you were partying away with Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari in Vegas, on his birthday, after he’d taken down the Five Diamond World Poker Classic, then there was no reason to not to be around the vicinity of the Camino Bar in Kings Cross. This was of course the venue for Hyperion’s Holiday Social that was attended by all those who could make their way through the student protests in Central London. If you chose to go to Vegas, it would have been one of those errors you make in life, as this party was one of the ones to say you had been at.

Inside the venue drinks, of which there were plenty, were provided by UKash helping to lubricate the conversations of all those attending. In terms of soaking up the drinking, this was down to the party organizers Hyperion Gaming, and in particular Chris Denny and Alex Lafferty (both of whom can be seen in the picture gallery).

There was magic on hand from Angelos Pangalos of Forward The Smile, who at one point was pulling cards from anywhere you can think of, and there was even a late cameo from Michael Caselli as the party was winding down.

Overall, it was quite the party, with the beer, wine, tapas, and company going down a treat. Hyperion are hoping to hold socials once every quarter, so come early next year you better make sure your keester is well and truly at their next venue, or else you’ll miss out on the drinks, food, and unadulterated fun that these parties are sure to bring.
